Swan

Identification

If you see an injured or sick swan, please try and get the orange leg ring number (if present) and ensure you give us a clear location.

General Advice

Swans are territorial and can be very aggressive to other swans invading their territory Also, when cygnets become old enough the parent will actively chase them off of the current territory, we often see lost and confused cygnets around this time.

If you see a swan in an unsafe place or one that is sick or injured please call us.

Do not try to handle a swan unless you are experienced in doing so, they are very powerful.
