Safety/Care Advice
Always wear gloves when handling hedgehogs, and place in a covered box for transport.
Remember never give food or water to an animal that is visibly injured, they often hides signs of pain and weakness and feeding takes a lot of their energy which if injured is their most valuable asset, if they try to hard to act normal this could kill them.

Still need help?
Please remember we are a small voluntary service, we are not obliged to come and collect animals, indeed transport is our biggest drain on resource. We all work and have busy lives, and do what we do for the love of our wildlife. We will always do our best to help, sometimes it may not be what you feel is right, but with a wealth of experience, we give the advice we do for good reason. At no point will verbal of physical abuse be tolerated by any of our volunteers.
You can contact us on 07912 862 739.
If we do not answer, we may be busy with animals or on a rescue.
Please call again, we try but are not always able to return calls or voicemails.
Please Note: Our opening hours are 8am to 6pm daily, but closed on Wednesdays.
